Latest River Restrictions: AMBER - TESTON LOCK IS OPEN (note passage restrictions are in place)

Latest information for Teston Lock (UPDATED WEDS 15TH MAY)

A restricted 8am to 5pm service is currently in place at Teston Lock. Vessels approaching from upstream or downstream must wait at the landing stages until you are called through by the contractor. Engineering staff will then assist your passage through the lock. There will be no need to disembark your vessel.
Canoeists will need to use the temporary portage just upstream of Teston Lock and walk around the rear of the construction site (signposted).
Due to some difficulties with seating the tail gates at the lock, we anticipate unrestricted access won't be availble until Friday 31st May. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Any queries please contact the lock keeper at Allington using
