Note: We will do our best to up date this status as soon as anything changes - but always check the river yourself before you boat.

River Restrictions 5th Oct 2009 - March 2010:
Notice to Mariners No. 12 of 2009 - Please read ref: River lowering for small maintenance works
Notice to Mariners No. 01 of 2010 - Please read ref: Delays to replacement landing stage works and disruption due to new proposed canoe and fish pass at East Lock
Eldridges Lock - As per the above Notice to Mariners - River lowered between Tonbridge Lock and Eldridges Lock until March/April 2010 to reduce flood risk damage to the banks of the new canoe and fish pass. The new canoe and fish pass at Eldridges Lock will now be opened in March/April 2010.
Teston and East Farleigh Locks - As per the above Notice to mariners - please note change of timings. Lock Passage for powered vessels restricted until end of Feb 2010. This has moved back due to weather affecting the construction of the new landing stages. Canoe portage possible at both sites but you will have to use the river bank instead of the landing stages).
